Dear Parents and Students,
This week will be a short week filled with many Easter activities. We will have a visit from one of our Zion buddies, and learn about the meaning of Easter. When we get back from Easter break we will start focusing on some of our end of the year activities like: graduation, fun day and Outlaw Ranch.
Here are some other things happening this week:
Math-
We will work with different types of triangles and quadrilaterals.
Religion- We will learn about David & Bathsheba and Absalom
Memory- - Matthew 28:6-7
He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you in to Galilee.
Science-
We will explore technology and space.
Social Studies-
We will continue to work in our Discovery Colonies & learn about the outcomes of the Revolutionary War.
English/Writing – We will work some more with prepositions and we will write some spring poetry.
Spelling-We will work on what looks right in our spelling. We will also be looking at the spelling in our own writing.
Health- We will learn about different causes of diseases.
Reading- We will be reading nonfiction comic books this week.
Computer-We will make online posters using Glogster.
Chapel- Chapel will be at 8:30. Our offering this month goes towards aid for Japan.
