What beautiful weather we have to usher out the month of September! Thank you for working with your child on closing the bathroom door. I have noticed some improvement in that skill!

A Peek at the Week:
This week in Jesus Time we learn about when Jacob and Rachel had a baby, found in Genesis 30:22-24. We learn that Jesus loves us with the greatest love possible and gives us parents and others to love us and take care of us. Our Bible words are from Proverbs 23:25, “May your father and mother be glad.”

Tuesday- We will continue learning about fall and leaves now. We will be working on painting the leaves on a tree with our fingertips. We will also play a parachute game with leaves. It’s always a wonder to see leaves twisting and floating to the ground. We will visit our school library to check out new books, too.

Thursday- We will enjoy some free paint (your child gets to paint whatever they want) with fall colors and we will play a fall M&M game. We will be counting and taking M&M’s off our tree game board to help us practice our counting and color recognition. Look for this game board and a baggie of M&M’s to come home. You can play this game with your child, too, by simply telling them to take off 3 yellow M&M’s, 2 red, etc. Then let your child eat them!
