Here we are at the end of your child’s first year of school! It seems like yesterday we were just beginning the year with all these roly-poly little 3 year olds and now they are like seasoned veterans to the school scene! I have enjoyed teaching them this year and watching their growth and reactions to our learning experiences. Thank you!
A Peek at the Week:
This week in Jesus Time we will review some of the Bible stories that we have learned this year, the songs, and the Bible words.
Tuesday-We will decorate a picture frame around a picture of our class. We will also do a little cleaning and enjoying our last time together this school year.
Book of the Week: we will vote on some of our favorites
From the Teacher’s Desk:
*Please make sure that you involve your child in some learning experiences during the summer. If you need some ideas, go to our school website under the preschool tab and look at the summer activities tab for some age-appropriate ideas. Also, please involve your child in the public library’s summer reading program. You can get the reading logs at the library or on their website.
*Please make sure to take care of any lost library books or unpaid lunches by Wednesday. If your child has lunches or milks left, they will carry over to next year or you can get a refund. Just let Miss Nora or myself know!
If your child is in daycare: We will have Chapel on Wednesday morning, with Pastor Paepke, with preschool and kindergarten graduation following. Our Chapel offerings this month go to Bridges of Hope, which brings shelter and clean water to children in West Africa. All daycare will dismiss on Wednesday at 11:15AM.
