We are at our last full week of school! In three more class sessions, your little one will have their first year of school under their belt!
A Peek at the Week:
This week in Jesus Time we learn that Jesus promises to be with us, found in Matthew 28:20. We learn that Jesus is with us as we learn and play. He is with us always, everywhere. Our Bible words are from Matthew 28:20, “[Jesus says,] ‘I am with you always’.”
Tuesday- We will visit Old MacDonald’s Farm this morning. The class will be leaving Zion at 9:15AM and will be back for dismissal and lunch bunch at 11:15AM. Your child needs $5 for this field trip, if you haven’t given it to me already.
Thursday-We will make ladybugs and go on a bug hunt in our backyard to see if we can find some insects (other than the ants that have taken up residence in our room! ).

From the Teacher’s Desk:
*Tuesday, May 25 will be our last class day for this group. We will have daycare on May 26 until 11:15AM if you need it.
**There is information about the public library’s summer reading program in the folders. Please remember to read, read, read to your child this summer. Studies have shown that children who are read to regularly become better readers themselves. There is also a card in the folders about a school survey. Please take just a few minutes to give us some feedback about Zion Lutheran School and let us know in what ways you’ve been blessed and in what ways we can improve. Thanks in advance!
If your child is in daycare: We will have Chapel on Wednesday afternoon, with Miss Nora doing the message. Our Chapel offerings this month go to Bridges of Hope.
