It sounds like we’ll have a fair share of sun and showers this week. Please remember to send a jacket with your child. Sometimes it is cooler up here on the hill than down in town.
A Peek at the Week:
This week in Jesus Time we learn about Timothy, found in 2 Timothy 1:5 and 3:15. We learn that God has made us members of His family by faith. He has placed people in our lives to tell us the Good News of His love and salvation through His Son, Jesus. Our Bible words are from Jeremiah 7:2, “Hear the Word of the Lord.”
Tuesday-We will have some fun making pink and muddy pigs. We will also go to the gym and practice ‘hitting the broad side of a barn.”  We will also visit our school library.
Thursday-We will paint roosters with lots of different colors and try our hand at making butter.

From the Teacher’s Desk:
*We will be visited by Chuck E. Cheese on Tuesday, April 27 at 2:30PM because of our Zion Night at Chuck E. Cheese from 3-9PM. Go eat and have some fun and a portion of the proceeds will come back to Zion School.
*PTL will sponsor a Family Dance Night (in lieu of the end of year picnic) on Friday, May 7th. We will have a DJ and a 50’s theme with interactive dances to learn as a family. The dance will be from 7-9PM. Come and have a great time!
*There will be no preschool or daycare on Friday, May 14 due to the track meet.
*If you’re looking for a little break, we’ll have Mom’s Group on Saturday, May 15 at 2PM. Claire Leivestad will show us how to make our own earrings. We’ll also continue our study on finding balance in our lives.
If your child is in daycare: We will have Chapel on Wednesday afternoon, led by our first graders. Our Chapel offerings this month go to the Dakota Boys Ranch.
