It sounds like we’ll have a “spring” kind of week! Please be sure to send jackets with your children as sometimes we can be a little windier up on the hill.
A Peek at the Week:
This week in Jesus Time we learn about Peter and the crippled man, found in Acts 3:1-6. We learn that God washes away our sins and makes us His children in Baptism. He wants us to share the Good News about Jesus so others will believe in Him and become His children, too. Our Bible words are from Isaiah 43:1, “[God says,] You are Mine.”
Tuesday-We will make a barnyard sticker scene, complete with our name. We will also practice positional words (under, around, over) after we read Rosie’s Walk. We will also visit our school library.
Thursday-We will make paper plate horses and sort animals according to if they are farm animals or not.

From the Teacher’s Desk:
*Thanks to all who participated or shopped the Consignment Sale. We’ll be doing it again next year if it snuck up on you or you weren’t sure about it! It’s a great way to make some extra money and support the school.
*We will be visited by Chuck E. Cheese on Tuesday, April 27 at 2:30PM because of our Zion Night at Chuck E. Cheese from 3-9PM. Go eat and have some fun and a portion of the proceeds will come back to Zion School.
*PTL will sponsor a Family Dance Night (in lieu of the end of year picnic) on Friday, May 7th. We will have a DJ and a 50’s theme with interactive dances to learn as a family. The dance will be from 7-9PM. Come and have a great time!
*There will be no preschool or daycare on Friday, May 14 due to the track meet.
*If you’re looking for a little break, we’ll have Mom’s Group on Saturday, May 15 at 2PM. Claire Leivestad will show us how to make our own earrings. We’ll also continue our study on finding balance in our lives.
If your child is in daycare: We will have Chapel on Wednesday morning, led by Pastor Bobby, from Our Redeemer Lutheran. Our Chapel offerings this month go to the Dakota Boys Ranch.
