Sounds like we will have some consistent fall weather this week! Make sure to enjoy the changing colors of the leaves with your children.
A Peek at the Week:
This week in Jesus Time we learn about Jacob’s dream, found in Genesis 27-28. We learn that God sends His angels to protect us and can thank God for His angels. Our Bible words are from Psalm 91:11, “God will command His angels…to guard you in all your ways.”
Monday-We will be working on our Art to Remember projects. We will also complete our leaf booklets. Thanks for sending the leaves back today.
Wednesday-We will have Chapel in the morning, led by Pastor Jones from Bethlehem Lutheran. Pastor Chris will visit the afternoon class for their own Chapel time. We will be working on letter Bb this week. Please help your child bring something that begins with Letter Bb on Wednesday. We will also be visiting our library so bring that book back, too!
Friday-We will have centers that include making leaf patterns on a crown, counting and one-to-one correspondence and number recognition. We will also make a graph of some different kinds of leaves. COOKIE DOUGH ORDERS AND MONEY ARE DUE ON FRIDAY!!!

*There will be no preschool or daycare on Thursday and Friday, Oct. 8 & 9 because the teachers have a SD Lutheran Teachers Conference in Chamberlain. There will also be no preschool or daycare on Monday, Oct. 12 for the Columbus/Native American Day.
*October book orders will be in the folders later this week. Please have them returned by next Monday, Oct. 5 if you’d like to order. If you would like to order on-line and pay with a credit card, log on to www.scholastic.com and look for parent on-line orders. It’s under “MrsGenzlingersClass” and the password is “books”.
Help Wanted: I still need some more milk lids so keep them coming if you’ve got them.
