Here is your last preschool Monday Note! This is such an important week, so read on carefully!
A Peek at the Week:
This week in Jesus Time we learn about Paul’s conversion, found in Acts 9:1-22. We learn that God loves us so much that He sent Jesus, who forgives our sin and gives us work to do for Him. Our Bible words are from 1 John 2:12, “Your sins have been forgiven.”
Monday- We will have one final free paint and get fitted for our graduation hats. We will also watch a short video about insects.
Wednesday- We will have our last centers session that will include our new center or sorting and counting unifix cubes and making a memento for graduation. We will also practice for graduation.
Friday- THE BIG DAY! Both classes will need to be to school by 8:15AM. We will go to chapel at 8:30AM and sit as a class. Parents and guests are welcome to join us, too. The preschool and kindergarten graduations will follow the chapel service. We will have a cake reception following the graduations and then your child is free to go. We will have daycare until 11:15AM for those that need to stay. All classes and daycare will dismiss for summer at 11:15AM. There will be no lunch or aftercare.

From the Teacher’s Desk:
*Tuesday, May 19 is the PTL End of Year Picnic at 6PM at Old Storybook Island. Please bring a main dish and either a side dish or dessert to share. Take Canyon Lake Rd. and turn left at the city recreation dept. offices. If you get to the Whitehead softball fields, you’ve gone too far.
*The school will be holding a silent auction for a side of beef that was donated. If you would like to bid on the meat, please see Mrs. Sayles or Miss Nora for a bid form. All bids need to be in by Friday, May 22nd.
Help Wanted:
*Our VBS is in need of adult helpers and teachers! If you would be able to help out at all during VBS (June 15-19), please let me know! Even if you can’t help the whole week, we’d appreciate any help. It’s really a great time for enriching the faiths of those little people!

*Thank you, thank you, thank you to all of you parents for a fantastic year! Having your children for the last year or two has been a blessing. I always tell the other teachers that I’m the lucky one—getting to see so much growth happen in these first years of school. Thank you for all of the support you have given. I’ve appreciated it so much!
