Here we are to the end of February! I have to tell you that spring is looking better and better!
A Peek at the Week:
This week in Jesus Time we learn about when Jesus fed 5,000, found in John 6:1-13. We learn that God, our heavenly Father, loves and cares for us and we can trust Him to provide for all our needs. Our Bible verse is “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good,” from Psalm 107:1.
Tuesday-We will be making a toothbrush picture. We will also look at some tools we use to help keep our teeth healthy. We will also visit our school library to check out new books.
Thursday-We will be making a toothbrushing chart to bring home. We will be having a toothpaste taste test and graphing our favorites.
If your child is in daycare:
Wednesday-We will have Chapel in the morning, led by Pastor Jones from Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Our Chapel offering for February goes to Zion’s Food Bank. Your child can bring either money or non-perishable food.

From the Teacher’s Desk:
*NO SCHOOL or DAYCARE on Friday, March 6th. We will be having preschool conferences on this day. Conference forms went home last week and need to be returned by Wednesday, Feb. 25. Conferences this time are optional.
*Next week will be a very special week at Zion—National Lutheran Schools’ Week! This is a time we celebrate our Lutheran schools and being able to share Jesus with our students. On the back of this note is the week’s special activities. Please note that all school sings on Sunday, March 8 at both services. We try to sing at the end of the 8AM service and the beginning of the 10:45AM service. Please come and here your child sing about their Savior!
*We have more of the “God is Great” CDs available for purchase for $6. The song we’ll be singing for Lutheran Schools Week is from the blue one! See a teacher or Miss Nora to buy them!
