Thank you to everyone who helped us get to Jolly Lane Greenhouse on last Friday. We had a good field trip. Thank you for your help! We are now down to the last 5 weeks of school!

This week in Jesus Time we learn about Peter and the crippled man, found in Acts 3. We learn that God gives us joy through His love for us in Jesus. We can always have joy in our hearts and we can thank God for His joy. We will have Chapel on Wednesday morning, led by our Pastor Lockie. Our Chapel offerings for April go to the Rapid City Food Bank, so food offerings are great, too!
On Monday we will begin learning about bugs and insects. We will also be reading the book that we will be doing for our preschool play (more on that below).
On Wednesday we will be working with letter Zz. We made it! The kids are so excited! Please help your child bring something to school that begins with letter Zz. We will also have Library on Wednesday.
On Friday we will be doing some centers with insect body parts and writing letters and numbers. We will also pick the parts for our play.

This is our last week for Book-It Beginners. Keep bringing in those cut-outs through this week. Your child will receive their last pizza coupon next week! Great job!

Our chicken eggs will (prayerfully) begin hatching sometime in the next 10 days.

The preschool classes will each be putting on a short play on Wednesday, May 14 at 7PM. We will do the plays and then have a small snack. Don’t forget your cameras and don’t be late or you’ll miss them!

Save Tuesday, May 20 on your calendars for the PTL End of the Year picnic at 6PM at the old Storybook Island. If you’re not sure where that’s at, just ask!

Mark your calendars now for preschool graduation! Our last day will be on Friday, May 23. We will have Chapel at 8:30AM and then the preschool and kindergarten graduations will follow after that. We will have a cake reception and then your child is free to begin their summer vacation! Grandparents and friends are welcome to come and don’t forget your camera!
